Mobbingportal, which aims to become a comprehensive guide to research literature on workplace mobbing, was begun in the spring of 2008, as a project of the research team on academic mobbing at the University of Waterloo, Canada. The team is led by Kenneth Westhues, Professor of Sociology. Direct all inquires to him by email or by post to K. Westhues, Department of Sociology, University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario N2L3G1.

Research assistant Rachel Morrison had primary responsibility for the website's initial design and content. Hannah Masterman was responsible for the pages on Heinz Leymann, the founder of research on workplace mobbing.

This initiative is supported by a bequest to the University of Waterloo from the estate of the late Hector Hammerly of Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, British Columbia, in support of Professor Westhues's research program on academic mobbing. The collaboration of various departments and individuals at Waterloo, as also of the Edwin Mellen Press in Lewiston, New York, is gratefully acknowledged. Thanks also to the dozens of mobbing researchers in North America, Europe, and elsewhere, who have provided information and encouragement for this project.
